Paul Nathan Danielson

SFC Paul Nathan Danielson in 1991 to a local classroom project in support of Operation Desert Storm.
Paul was born in Stayton, Oregon on July 25, 1960 to Roger and Mary Lou Danielson. After graduating from Stayton High School in 1978, Paul left Oregon for a military career. An army veteran
, Paul retired after 26 years of service. Paul's many awards included Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, National Defense Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal and five Good Conduct Medals. Paul enjoyed his family, friends, music, motorcycles, cars and his four dogs. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars
At the time of his death, Paul lived in Woodstock, Georgia, with his wife Terry Danielson. He was interred with full military honors at Georgia National Cemetery on July 25.
Paul is survived by his wife Terry; parents Roger and Mary Lou, Stayton, Oregon; daughter Desire Danielson, son and daughter-in-law Patrick and Ashley Danielson, and grandchildren Alicia, Silas and Scarlette Danielson, all of Gainesville, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law Lorna and Randall Adkins, Jefferson, Oregon; sister Cathy Hemshorn and brother Mark Danielson, both of Stayton; sister-in-law Cindy Williams and brother-in-law Steve Williams, both of Colquitt, Georgia; brother-in-law Jerry C. Mote of Edison, Georgia; and six nephews and nieces.
Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, September 21 at 5pm, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 198 Fern Ridge Rd. SE, in Stayton. A reception will follow at the church.
