Sharon Kay Walker
July 19, 1950 - February 21, 2014
Sharon was born in Escondido, CA. She peacefully passed away from cancer at home.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Carl and Bertha (Beason) Walker, sister, Geneva Thomas, and brother, Joe Walker.
Sharon is survived by brothers Jack Walker (Pat) of Laughlin, NV, Roger Walker of Escondido CA, and many nieces and nephews.
She led an interesting life. After finishing Orange Glen High School (Escondido, CA) in 1968 she worked as an Aerospace worker, Travel Agent, in F.B.I. administration, ran a Day Care, and finally as concierge at Avamere Court in Keizer. Few knew this unassuming woman with a quiet demeanor and beautiful smile had assisted in some of the most notorious criminal cases of the '70s.
Sharon loved adventure; she jumped out of airplanes, traveled the world and made everyone she met feel special. She lived her life as a shining example of God's love. She will be missed by many. She truly was a role model for all of us whose lives she touched.
A celebration of Sharon's life will be held Saturday March 1st 2014 at 10:30 in Avamere Court at Keizer, 5210 River Rd. N., Keizer, OR. Arrangements are by Unger Funeral Chapel, Silverton.
In lieu of flowers or donations, please hug someone you love and tell them how special they are to you.
