Travis West Dillingham

July 29, 1987 - December 28, 2012

JEFFERSON - Travis West Dillingham was born in Pomona California on July 29, 1987.

He lived in Upland, California until he was 3 years old, he then moved with his parents, Bud and Pam Dillingham to Talbot, Oregon.

He was a student at Western Oregon University, where he studied music and writing. Travis had a life-long love of music. He attended the Conservatory of Music Education, under the direction of Roma Eicher, from the time he was four years old until he was 16 years old. He never stopped learning new instruments and exploring new styles of music. In recent years, he had given private music lessons to help support himself through college, where he also discovered, he was excited to teach music to others.

Travis was generous and kind-hearted, he touched the lives and hearts of many people. He was loved very much and will be sincerely missed by all.

Travis is survived by his parents William (Bud) and Pam; grandparents Jim and Pat McInnes, aunts and uncles; Carol McCole, Don (Barbara) Dillingham, Harry (Janet) Dillingham, Shirley (Mike) Nee, Jane Dillingham-Dirksen, Patty (Wayne) Krehbiel, Barbara (Paul) Mowrer, Tom (Sam) Dillingham, Joyce (Steve) Toan, Jimmy (Wendi) McInnes, Beth Wallace, Susan (Kevin) Arnott, also many cousins and friends.

A celebration of Travis's life will be held in Jefferson at the Jefferson Baptist Church on Saturday, January 5th at 1:00 P.M.
