Sharon Fischer Obituary

SALEM - Sharon Darlene Fischer, 56, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on January 22, 2006. She was born in Salem, Ore. on June 15, 1949. Sharon worked for the State of Oregon for 16 years at Fairview Training Center until its closure. She continued on working in group homes run by the State. Sharon retired due to health problems. Sharon had the spirit of a lion, and the heart of an angel. She was a strong, independent woman. She lived her life for the happiness of family and friends. She survived the death of her mother, Fern Fischer, followed by her own health problems. Sharon loved to spend time with her grandson Xavier, she had a passion for travel, and a spirited love for life. She said her greatest day was when she adopted her son, Joseph. Memorial Services: 3 p.m. Friday, January 27 at Peoples Church, Salem. Arrangements by Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors.
