Dean A. Webster
July 26, 1956 - February 2, 2013
SALEM - Dean A. Webster passed away unexpectedly in his sleep at home on Saturday, February 2, 2013.
Born July 26, 1956 in Salem to Bob and Patty Webster, Dean graduated from Sprague High School in 1974 as an all-star basketball and football player. A union carpenter for 30 years, he retired in 2012. Dean was a fisherman at heart. His big personality and big life touched many. He was a member of the Pacific Northwest Regional Council of Carpenters and the Salem Elks Lodge 336.
Survivors include his loving wife Kristine; mother Patty and stepfather Bob; sister Tracy and partner Ty; stepbrothers Roger, Glenn, and Wayne; son Andrew; daughters Bryanna and Yvonne; stepdaughter Melissa; grandchildren Zian, Amari, Zayvian, Pharoah, Alivia, and Drew; a tight-knit extended family; and the boys Joey and Tommy.
Dean was preceeded in death by his father Bob, stepmother Sharon, stepbrother Brett, niece Misty, and fishing buddy Wolf.
A memorial service will be held at Golden Funeral Service on Commercial St at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 9. A party will be thrown in Dean's honor at 3 p.m. the same day at Elks Lodge on Turner Rd.
