Obituary

SALEM - Lemmah was born in Holland, Texas on January 13, 1918. She married Lawrence Edward Alexander, Jr. on March 21, 1941 in Texas. She was a military wife and homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist church, Sojourners, and Bush House Auxiliary. She is survived by son Lawrence E. Alexander, III and daughter-in-law, Margaret of Bronxville, New York; J. Michael Alexander and daughter-in-law Anna of Salem; granddaughter, Dina Alexander and husband, Jim Taylor of Portland; granddaughter, Jennifer Alexander of Portland. Preceded in death by granddaughter Leslie Alexander of Waco, Texas. Graveside services will be held at Thursday, October 20, at 1:00 p.m., at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas. Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or the Willamette Valley Hospice. . No flowers please. Local Arrangements are by Howell-Edwards-Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors.
