LORRAINE ROSINA MARTINMAAS

March 14, 1919 - April 19, 2014

Our beloved mother Lorraine R. Martinmaas passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on April 19, 2014, at the home of her daughter and son in law.

Lorraine R. Martinmaas was born on March 14th, 1919 in Miller, So. Dakota to Mary and Henry Kuper. She was the eldest of 11 children.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tony, son Dennis, grandsons Philip Martinmaas and Andrew Mellon, great grandson Jason Gerig, sisters, Eileen Boehmer and Margie Kuper, brothers "Bud", George and James Kuper. She is survived by her children, Marlene (Bob) Gerig, David (Lolita) Martinmaas, Allan (Sherryl) Martinmaas, Steve (Vonnie) Martinmaas, Renee Shewey, Pam (Wayne) Stanley, Michelle (Marshall) Buchholz all of Salem, Karen (Paul) Dryden of Woodburn, Craig (Vicky) Martinmaas of Oregon City and Kevin (Lisa) Martinmaas of Surprise Az. Sister, Viola Martinmaas of Salem, brothers, Jerome Kuper of Prineville, Clarence Kuper and Don Kuper both of Redmond. Also, 33 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 9 great great-grandchildren.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, April 24th, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am both at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1010 Columbia St. NE, Salem. Reception will follow. Lorraine is in the care of Howell Edwards Doerksen with Rigdon-Ransom Funeral Directors.
