Tyler Graham Obituary

Tyler A. Graham November 9, 1984 - January 22, 2010 STAYTON-Tyler Graham passed away peacefully January 22, 2010, at his home in Stayton, Oregon. Tyler was born November 9, 1984, in Corvallis, Oregon, to Tony and Edna Graham. Although Tyler's life was short, his accomplishments were many. He recieved his Blackbelt in TaiKwanDoe. Most recently, he completed a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Detroit Michigan and managed an extensive Christmas Tree Lot in California. He excelled at making anyone feel comfortable and meeting their needs. All those that interacted with Tyler, even for a short time, described Tyler as an energetic, happy, loving person. Truly an inspiration to all around him; a young man with no guile. Tyler is survived by his parents, Tony and Edna Graham; a brother and his spouse, Duane and Emily Graham; his nephew, Taylor Graham; grandparents, Alma and Bob Irish, Edvin and Karen Taranger; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Hubert Duane Graham. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 30 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1400 Western Avenue, Stayton, Oregon. Viewing will take place from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. with funeral services following at 11 a.m. Following the services Tyler will be interred at Pioneer Cemetery in Salem, Oregon. Arrangements by Weddle Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers, Tyler would love to see other young men and women serve missions, in which donations can be sent to "Mission Fund" P.O. Box 681 Stayton, OR 97383. Because of Tyler's love for animals, donations may also be made to the Humane Society. Most of all Tyler would want you to do as he did: be kind to someone in need and give a smile to a passerby on your way.

Tony & Edna, Our hearts broke when we heard of Tyler's death. We hope that your knowledge of the Gospel will help you through this tough time. Imagine the rejoicing that is taking place in Paradise as he is greeted by loving family members and his Heavenly Father. He will be well taken care of there. We hope that our prayers will help to comfort you in your loss while here on this earth.
We remember Tyler as an energetic young man who loved to sing out in Primary, especially in Sacrament Programs. I am sure he carried that enthusiam in the mission field. Obviously he was a valiant missionary and Heavenly Father needs his help.
Our thoughts and Prayers are with you and your family.

He was the most Outgoing , Positive , Cheerful, Loving, The list could go on of all the qualities and attributes the Tyler was possessed with.. A Scripture that I can think of that sums it all up is in The Book of Mormon, Reminds me of Tyler when I read it :) Moroni 7:47 But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endurent forever and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him. Elder Graham was one of the best Misisonarys out here in Detroit, MI, so positive and kind, strived to be upbeat and loving. Shared his testimony & love for the Lord through diligent efforts, step by step, bike pedal by bike pedal he to teach & reach out for
handshakes, happy, warm expressions, in the city and wherever he was with companions with the people of Detroit.
~THANK YOU ELDER GRAHAM FOR COMING TO MICHIGAN....WE SHALL ALWAYS HOLD YOU IN OUR HEARTS. ~PRES & SIS BLACK
