Helen Ann Ebert of Lake Oswego, Oregon passed away of natural causes on Friday, January 31, 2014 at the age of 92. Helen was born to John and Etta Marshall on September 19, 1921 in Polk County, Wisconsin. She married Melvin Ebert and together they had five children. In 1947 the family moved from Wisconsin to Salem, Oregon, where Helen lived until 2012 when she moved to Oswego Place, Lake Oswego, Oregon. For nineteen years she was employed at McNary High School as a library media aid. After retirement Helen enjoyed travel throughout the United States and Europe. Besides being an avid gardener and bird watcher, she took pleasure socializing with her friends. Most of all, Helen enjoyed being with her family; she will be greatly missed.
Helen was predeceased by her daughter Mary Lou (1959) and by her husband Melvin (1967).
She is survived by her children Donna, Nancy, Gary, Terry and their respective spouses; grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helen, Melvin and Mary Lou are interred in Belcrest Memorial Park, Salem, Oregon.
