Chad Vernon Bretsch
April 7, 1971 - February 13, 2014
Chad Vernon Bretsch, 42 died Thursday, February 13th as the result of an automobile accident in Stevenson, Washington. Chad was born on April 7, 1971 in Albany, Oregon. He graduated from McKay High School in Salem and worked as a car salesman in the Salem area for several years. He also owned and operated First Impression Auto Detail for 3 years. Most recently, he was employed as a truck driver for Walmart. He loved anything and everything that had to do with cars and motorcycles. In his leisure time, he enjoyed spending time at the beach, fishing and movies. His favorite movie was "Bullit." Chad will be remembered for his beautiful smile and his funny sense of humor. He was an amazing man with a big heart. Everyone who ever knew him loved Chad.
Chad is survived by his parents Brad and Bonnie Hoots of Philomath; Don Bretsch of California; his sons Michael and Daniel Bretsch of Hermiston; his girlfriend Thuy Pham and her son, Aiden of Portland; grandfather Vernon Bretsch of Vancouver; sister Sonya Coenen of Enschede, Netherlands; nephews Jacob and Liam; his good friend and cousin Chad Savage.
