Eddie Lowery Obituary
Eddie Allen Oren Lowery

May 8, 1934 - April 15, 2014

Ed Lowery passed away peacefully Tuesday at Tierra Rose Care Center in Salem, Oregon. Ed was born to Oren and Lona Lowery in Brooks, Oregon. Ed attended Salem area schools. Ed enlisted in the Marines and proudly served in Korea. Anyone who knew Ed knew his career path was sales. Ed had several successful businesses in which his charming persona could sell you anything!

Ed married his soul mate Joanne Lowery in 1986. After having a high school courtship their lives took them separate ways. They were fortunate enough to marry 35 years later. Ed and Jo had a wonderful life full of adventures and making their home wherever life took them. It didn't matter as long as they were together. As Ed would say, "I'm with you Kid". To this day Jo wants Ed to know she will always be with him.

Ed is survived by his loving wife Joanne Lowery and his stepsons Mark, Mike, Mitch and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ed is also survived by his brother Jack Lowery, his sister Deann Green and 4 children Debbie, Eddie, David and Jeri from a previous marriage. Ed is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dean Lowery.

Joanne would like to extend a sincere thank you and appreciation to Tierra Rose for all the wonderful care and LOVE Ed received. There will be a viewing for Ed at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service from 2:30-5:00 pm Friday April 18th. The military honors will be presented at 3:00 pm for anyone who would like to attend. If you would like to honor Ed please feel free to donate to Tierra Rose Nursing Care Center or in care of Shriners in Portland, Oregon in the name of his grandson Keeton Humphries. Arrangements by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
