Henry A. Duman June 20, 1920 - July 1, 2010 JORDAN - Henry, 90, died Thursday in Jordan. He was born in Cottonwood, Idaho. Henry was the second of 14 children. Henry moved to Stayton/Scio area at an early age. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Henry worked as a log truck driver for over 50 years, mainly for Lulay Timber; he also farmed during that time. Henry could fix or invent anything and attended all of his grandkids' sporting events. He also liked watching Blazer basketball. He served many years on the Lourdes school board and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Henry married Johanna Salzl on June 4, 1946 in Jordan. He is survived by his wife, Johanna of Jordan; sons, Jerry (Linda) Duman of Jordan and Bern (Mindy) Duman of Tualatin; daughters, Marie (Art) Fox of Salem, Sue (Dennis) Conrad of Lyons, Jean (Andrew) Frost of Salem, Anita (Ted) Fowler of Salem, Nancy (Craig) McClain of Aumsville and Janet (Rick) Pearson of Redding, Calif.; brothers, Cliff Duman of Turner, Bob Duman of Ukiah, Calif., and Jim Duman of Central Point; sisters, Doris Ray of Tahlequah, Okla., Cassie Larsen of Windsor, Calif., Margaret Lowers of Healdsburg, Calif., and Regina Jones of Windsor, Calif.; 24 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 - 9 p.m., Sunday, July 4th at North Santiam Funeral Service in Stayton. Recitation of Rosary will be at 7 p.m., Sunday, July 4th, and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m., Monday, July 5th, both at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Jordan. Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery in Jordan. Contributions may be made to Lourdes Education Foundation, Regis High School or Lyons Fire Department Ambulance.
