(She lived to be 93 years old: died on January 5, 1992.) Jack left home at an early age and enlisted in the Navy for 4 years during World War II proudly serving his country. He married Maxine Opal Potter on April 15, 1944 and together they lovingly raised up their two sons; Bryan Wolf and Jack Wolf Jr. Jack and Maxine bought 3 older homes during their young married years that they remodeled and took their profits to buy acreage and build their beautiful colonial home in Mist, Or in 1978. They happily lived there for 12 years and many of the wonderful memories their grandchildren have of growing up reside there still. Jack worked for PGE as a service inspector for 25 years. He loved to play baseball and enjoyed coaching his own team for Allen Hardware in Keizer, Or around the early sixties. Jack will always be remembered for being a very loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. he truly was a gifted handyman....A 'Jack of all trades' kind of a guy! He did all his own electrical work; he could remodel or build from scratch because he was so creative. Some of his favorite pasttimes after retirement was building a variety of unique birdhouses in all shapes and sizes; as well as using his sentiment to create beautiful dollhouses for his beloved grandchildren. Jack loved to laugh and loved to make other people laugh too! His great sense of humor was always present; like a beautiful ray of sunshine to our souls. He loved his pets...Collies in particular. He telling stories from his own personal experiences and if he could make them funny that would make it all the better! He loved fishing with his sons on crane Prairie... watching them grow up to love the outdoors as much as he did. He loved playing Pinochle, always enjoying the visiting more than the card game. He loved picnics and barbecues; quality family times around the campfire. Jack was always there with a helping hand and a ready smile on his face! He was dearly loved and respected by his family and friends... his love lives on in all our hearts. Jack had faith in the Lord and remained devoted to his Maxine for 68 plus years...Leaving us a 'happily ever after kind of legacy.
