Harold Glenn Brack was born in Colorado in 1914. Shortly after his birth, his family moved to Portland where he was raised. He graduated from Washington High School in 1933 and attended Oregon State University, graduating with honors in 1937.
Harold married his high school sweetheart, Maxine Elliott in 1935. They were married for 76 years and raised three children. His career with the FBI took them to various places throughout the country, including Lousville, Kentucky and Washington D.C. They were transferred to Portland in 1946 and then to Salem in 1953. Harold retired in 1971 after 31 years with the bureau.
Harold was preceded in death by their first-born daughter, Linda Ann, in 1941, and then his wife, Maxine, in 2011. He is survived by his children, Jay (Judy) of Seattle, John (Linda) of Salem, and Glenda Smith (Mike) of Keizer.
Harold and Maxine loved and lived for their 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service for Harold and Maxine at Rudy's (Salem Golf Course) on Saturday, October 19th from 4-6 P.M.
