Anne Bowell MOORESVILLE Anne Louise Mornard Bowell, 83, of Mooresville, passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. She was born May 21, 1929, in Boston, Mass., to the late Albert and Anna O'Connor Mornard. She was a retired nurse for Lourdes Hospital in New York and a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Mooresville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, George F. Moffat; and son-in-law, Bill R. Rowton. She is survived by her husband, Henry Arthur Bowell; children, George Moffat and wife, Donna, of Mooresville, Ind., A. Christine Rowton, of Mooresville, Brian Moffat and wife, Debbie, of Mooresville, and Kathie Kitchens and husband, Kurt, of Mooresville; step-children, Henry F. Bowell and wife, Darlene, of Endicott, N.Y., and Frances Bowell and fianc‚, Clara Ledoux, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; grandchildren, Jimmy and Michael Rowton, Thomas, Todd, Kathleen and Tyler Moffat, Kyndra Heck, Kaylee Wheeler and Zachary Bowell; and great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Khloee and Jaidon Rowton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at St. Therese Catholic Church. Entombment will follow the service at Northlake Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Aug. 15, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., followed by a prayer service at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Therese Catholic Church, 217 Brawley School Rd., Mooresville, NC 28117, and/or St. James Episcopal Church, 851 Shinnville Rd., Mooresville, NC 28115.
