Bahrman, Mabel Elizabeth - St. Augustine  
Mabel Elizabeth Bahrman, 59, of St. Augustine, passed away on Dec. 6, 2014, at Bailey Center for Caring. She was born and grew up in Long Island, New York, and had been a resident of St. Augustine since 1969, moving here from Patchogue, N.Y. Mabel was a member of the A.R.C. community in St. Augustine and was employed by Grumman Aerospace where she worked in facility maintenance, and most recently worked as a cafeteria worker at Flagler College. She led a very active life and had participated in Special Olympics for many years having received 75 awards in her competitions. Her favorite event was the shot put. Mabel was outgoing, friendly and always glad to see you. Her gift to this world was the love she gave. She truly loved everyone she met and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her sisters, Elidia Jacobsen and her husband, Jon, and Roberta Vesley and her husband, Allen, of Pittsboro, N.C.; and several cousins and aunts. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Peter and Thor. Private services will be held. St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Blue, Willie Marshall  
Willie Marshall Blue, 90, of Hastings, Fla., passed away Dec. 15, 2014, following a brief illness. Mr. Blue was born to Kate Givens and Frank Blue. Mr. Blue was of the Pentecostal faith and was affiliated with Harvest Time Evangelistic Ministries, Hastings. He was often known for his kind and gentle spirit. Mr. Blue leaves to mourn, sisters, Rosetta Wilson, Linda Blue, and Nadine Blue; and caregiver, Debra Williams. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 2:30 p.m. at Mount Zion AME Church, Pastor Roger Williams; Pastor Christopher Coleman, Harvest Time Ministries, officiating. Burial will follow in Pattersonville Cemetery. Viewing will take place Friday 6-7:30 p.m. at Coleman's Chapel. Coleman's Mortuary honorably rendering services. Bruggeman, Laura Norma  
Laura Norma Bruggeman, 102, passed away from old age at the Roberts Care Center of Haven Hospice on Dec. 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Jake Bruggeman. Laura loved life and her family, and was dearly loved in return. She enjoyed golf, bowling, fishing and swimming, and was on a synchronized swim team as a young woman; but her real passion was growing things. She spent much time in her gardens and was most generous in offering bulbs and cuttings to all who admired her flowers. In 2005 Laura moved from her farm home in the Morenci, Mich., area with her daughter, Linda, to the St. Augustine area, where she attended Linda's water aerobic classes until the age of 96. Mother and daughter shared many adventures together and enjoyed a close and loving bond. Survivors include son, Dan Bruggeman (Terry) of Adrian, Mich., and his children, Marcia, Nancy, and Mark; daughter, Linda Ranous, and her children, Alex and John; son, Tom Bruggeman (Olive) of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; and five great grandchildren. A memorial service in Michigan will take place at a later date. St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements

Clark, William Calfrey - Unadilla  
William Calfrey Clark, (called Calfrey by his family and Bill by his friends), 95, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, at his home in Jacksonville, Fla., surrounded with the love and support of his children. He was born into a Georgia pioneering family established in Laurens, Tattnall, Telfair and Montgomery (now Wheeler) Counties since the late 1700s. Calfrey was the son of the late Flournoy C. and Minnie Anderson Clark. He was a World War II veteran attached to the 34th armored battalion stationed in Taunton, England. In July 1944, his unit made land-fall in Cherbourg, France as part of the Normandy campaign. With his battalion, he followed Patton's 3rd Army all over Europe, participating in the Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe campaigns. Following the war, he made his home in Jacksonville, where he graduated from Jones Business College. In June 1949, he married Martha Marie Griggs from Unadilla, Ga., and they enjoyed 54 happy and loving years of marriage, raising their four children in Jacksonville. In the late 1940s and 1950s, he worked as a floor manager for Sears & Roebuck when it was located on the corner of Market and Forsythe streets in downtown Jacksonville. Following his years at Sears, he was a store manager for McDuff Appliances for their Jacksonville Beach and Regency Square stores. In June 1975, he started his own business, Clark Appliances on Ponce de Leon Boulevard, in St. Augustine, that is now owned and operated by his son, Don Clark. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha, in 2003; his sister, Ouida Clark Sanger of Athens, Ga.; and his two brothers, Robert Clark and Eschol Clark of Alamo, Ga. He is survived by his two daughters, Linda Clark Williams and Mary Ann Clark both of Jacksonville; his two sons, James Warren Clark (Karen) of Ponte Vedra Beach and Donald Elliot Clark (Maggie) of St. Augustine; his three grandsons, Kevin Clark (Brittany) of Ann Arbor, Mich., Brian Clark and Brad Clark, both of Ponte Vedra Beach; his step-granddaughter, Savannah James of St. Augustine; a brother-in-law, George Sanger of Athens, Ga.; a sister-in-law, Eugenia Clark of Alamo, Ga., and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, in the chapel of Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home in Unadilla, Ga. Interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery. Rev. James Aycock will officiate. The family will greet friends 11 a.m. to noon prior to the service. Del Carmen D'Adamo, Maria - Ponte Vedra Beach  
Maria Del Carmen D'Adamo, 59, of Ponte Vedra Beach, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2014, at her home of natural causes. Mrs. D'Adamo was the editor of Eco Latino magazine in Northeast Florida and was one of Florida's most prominent Spanish language journalists. Most recently she worked for Florida Blue in Jacksonville. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on April 4, 1955, to Juan D'Adamo and Maria Pedro Gil. She grew up in Buenos Aires and graduated in 1980 from the University of La Plata with a degree in history. After that she attended the University of London on an academic scholarship. She was an art collector and she worked with many publications in Argentina and overseas, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Mrs. D'Adamo had a history of heart ailments, including three major heart surgeries. Her first job in Florida was at Florida International University in Miami. She moved to St. Augustine in 2003 to be near her daughter who was attending Flagler College. After her daughter returned to Argentina, Mrs. D'Adamo stayed in St. Augustine and became the editor of Echo Latino, which was then based in The Record building in St. Augustine. She became an American citizen in 2012. She is survived by her mother; her daughter, Valeria, of Buenos Aires; and a granddaughter. Her grandson is due to be born soon. She was preceded in death by her father and her half-brother, Daniel. A visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Craig Funeral Home, 1475 Old Dixie Highway, St. Augustine. Evans, Sr., Raymond Jerome  
Raymond Jerome Evans, Sr., 61, native and lifelong resident of Hastings, transitioned on Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, in St. Augustine. The son of Willie James Evans Sr. and Hattie Mae Dowling, he was a 1971 graduate of Hastings High School and also attended Santa Fe College in Gainesville. Raymond was united in matrimony to Linda Gale Appling in December 1995. He was the owner/operator of Ray J. Trucking, Inc. He was a faithful and dedicated Deacon at Pompey's Temple Church of God in Christ. Raymond was a philanthropist and found joy in supporting numerous private and public organizations, including sponsoring the Palatka High School wrestling team. He was passionate about his grandchildren. Raymond was preceded in eternal rest by his parents; his brother, Willie James "Pete" Evans Jr.; sister, Patricia Evans. To cherish his memories, his loving wife, Linda Appling Evans, Hastings; children, Raymond (Shalena) Evans Jr., Hastings; Justin Evans, Terre Haute, Ind.; Reginald Davis, Rory (Wytonvia) Hayward, Wilbert Evins Jr., all of Palatka, Suzette Evins, Kendra Evins, Brandi Evins, all of Jacksonville; siblings, Ronald (Jequita) Evans Sr., Gregory Evans, Eugene Evans, Linda Goff, Bermodie (Mathew) Gilyard, Reginald Roberts, Jeffrey Stewart, Patrick Stewart, Cheryl (Anthony) Coleman, Cynthia Lewis and Tangela Harris; aunt, Minnie Lee McCall, Palatka; nine grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Frantzen, Larry - St. Augustine Beach  
Larry Frantzen, 42, of Saint Augustine Beach, Fla., passed away Dec. 14, 2014, having survived Ewing Sarcoma as a child, a broken back at the age of 16, thyroid cancer in 2008, 90 percent blockage of the left main trunk in February 2014, severe pulmonary hemorrhaging in October 2014 and years of nagging by his wife. Born in Chicago, Ill., Larry is survived by his wife, Tanya; daughters, Molly, Zoey and Greystache; parents, Lawrence and Annemarie Frantzen; brothers Mike and Fred Frantzen; and sister Marian Logan. He is predeceased by Mindy, Mitten, Frosty, Ripley and FatCat Frantzen. Larry was a caring, fun-loving and often ridiculous spark of life. Larry studied psychology at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale and later went into occupational therapy. His real passion, however, was writing. Unfortunately it is all completely illegible. A celebration of Larry's life will be held in Mallory Square in Key West at sunset on Dec. 27, 2014. Larry was much beloved and will be missed terribly. Gambill, Jordan Douglas - Saint Johns  
Jordan Douglas Gambill, 21, passed away Dec. 14, 2014. Jordan was born Jan. 1, 1993, in Cadiz, Spain. He graduated from Creekside High School, St Johns, Fla. in 2011. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps as an active reservist until Oct. 31, 2014. He attended Florida State College at Jacksonville and was currently enrolled at Sante Fe College in Gainesville, Fla. Jordan was a gentle giant who loved animals, nature, traveling and most of all spending time with his family. His death is an indescribable loss for those who loved and knew him. Jordan is preceded in death by his father, Steven Douglas Gambill. He is survived by his mother, Betty A. Gambill; brother, Jonathan David Gambill; sister, Jessica Leilani Faucher (Jonathan); and nephews, Jonathan L. Faucher, Jr., and Jeremiah Douglas Faucher. Gambill, Steven Douglas - Jacksonville  
Steven Douglas Gambill, 51, passed away Dec. 14, 2014. Steve was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo., Aug. 24, 1963. He graduated from Nashville Diesel College in Nashville, Tenn. He then enlisted in the United States Navy and served until 1989. He began his career with Ring Power Corporation in 1994 and was employed as Vice President of Service at the time of his death. Steve enjoyed all things outdoors and spending time with his family. Vacation was not a word in Steve's vocabulary because even when he was not at work he was "at work" helping anyone who needed his assistance. Steve had a smile that left an everlasting impression on all those around. He was good at all trades and master of everything. All of our lives have been blessed because Steve was a part it. Steve is preceded in death by his son, Jordan Douglas Gambill. He is survived by his son, Jonathan David Gambill; daughter, Jessica Leilani Faucher (Jonathan); grandchildren, Jonathan L. Faucher, Jr. and Jeremiah Douglas Faucher; parents, Verlin "Butch" and Nelda Gambill; sister, Teresa Ann Stonecipher; nieces, Shaundel, Kimberly, Kassie, and Natalie Stonecipher and Stefanie Brumitt. Graff, Edith Alma  
Edith Alma Graff, 91, passed away peacefully and joined with the Lord Dec. 14, 2014, from her residence. A native of New York, she joined Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in 1941. She married the late Bill Graff, who served in the U.S. Merchant Marine for 42 years. After their retirement in 1986 they moved to Pocono Lakes, Pa., where they lived until moving to St. Augustine in 1995. Edith is survived by her cousin, Walter Cornell, also of St. Augustine, and his family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William E. Graff; her twin sister, Ruth Schartz; and her parents, Henry and Elizabeth Klapp. There will be a memorial service Jan. 17, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Craig Funeral Home. Flowers are gratefully declined.
