Earl Charles Brubaker, 83, of Federal Point, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. A native of Federal Point, Earl was a graduate of the University of Florida and had served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. After serving in the Air Force, he was a lifelong resident of Florida. Earl retired from Farm Credit of North Florida as a senior loan officer. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Elkton. Earl had also been a member of the Palatka Lions Club and the Rotary Club of Hastings.

He was preceded in death by his son, Dean Mark Brubaker.
Earl is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Brubaker; his daughter, Theresa Drago and husband, James; grandson, Jason Drago (Shanell); granddaughters, Caitlyn Brubaker and Jennifer Bell (Mathew) and their two children, Courtney Bell and A.J. Bell; and many beloved cousins and friends.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Elkton with Father Kiran Medipalli, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Ambrose Catholic Church Renovation Fund, 6070 Church Road, Hastings, FL 32033.
