Kenneth Wayne Theige, 81, passed away at his home June 19, 2014. He was born in Oslo, Minn., on Dec. 5, 1932. He was a decorated Air Force Veteran from the Korean War. He graduated from the University of North Dakota and was a high school teacher and coach in Oslo for several years. He then taught in the Job Corps and for the Department of the Army in various locations. He served as historian at the Castillo de San Marcos and later as a Ranger in the National Park Service. He is survived by his wife Johanna, his five children Laurie Hays, Vicky Stewart, Scott, Lee and Paul Theige, 15 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. The family will have a private memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of a good man.
