Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Biedling

Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Biedling, 76, of St. Augustine, passed away at her residence on Dec. 8, 2013, surrounded by her family. Born in Delaware County, Pa., Betsy grew up in Media, Pa. After attending college, she worked with her husband in several small businesses, while also raising their children. Betsy relocated from Pasadena, Md., to St. Augustine in 2010, in order to be closer to her family. She enjoyed taking walks on Crescent Beach, and traveling whenever the opportunity arose. Above all, Betsy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earle Biedling.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Beth Dunn and her husband Gary, of Elkton, Fla., and Virginia Horsmon of Maryland; a son, Earle Martin Biedling and his wife Gail, of Palm Coast; sisters, Alice Keeneer and Virginia Banks, both of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Kayla Collins and her husband, Chris, Michael Dunn, and his wife, Katharine, and Schuyler Engelhardt; one great-grandchild and another one on the way.

Private services will be held.
