Stephen Michael Dvornick, 80, St. Augustine, Fla., died Oct. 30, 2012, at his home. He was born in Passaic, N.J. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was the controller for Howmet Corporation where he founded the company Credit Union. He was a faithful member of San Sebastian Catholic Church.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at San Sebastian Catholic Church, the Rev. Tom Walsh, officiating. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Sunday at Craig Funeral Home Chapel. Flowers are gratefully accepted, contributions are encouraged to the , 5851 Old St. Augustine Road, Jacksonville, FL 32207.

He is survived by his wife: Katherine; daughter, Debra Anne Pettinger (Will), Fruit Cove, Fla.; son, Stephen Dvornick Jr. (Amy): Stafford, Va.; brother, Eugene Dvornick (Patricia) Everett, Wash; and grandchildren, Will Pettinger, Steven Dvornick, Julianna Pettinger, Ryan Dvornick and Nathan Dvornick.
