Eugene K. Reineke, 86, passed away peacefully on Nov. 3, 2017. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Ethel S. Reineke, his parents Herman and Mary Reineke and beloved sister Marilyn E. Quinlan. He is survived by his current loving wife of 22 years, Ann Kaiser Reineke of St. Augustine.
He is further survived by his children Eugene S. Reineke (Jan), Jacqueline R. Kelso (Chris) and Ronald J. Reineke, Sr.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Additionally, he is survived by his stepchildren, Robin Cooksey (Jessica), Debbie Manucy (Alonzo) and Jennifer Mansfield along with step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
Gene honorably served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was also an active parishioner and volunteer at St. Anastasia Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Anastasia Catholic Church. His body will be interred at San Lorenzo Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Eugene requested that donations be made to the at cancer.org or to your local chapter of the .
