Kyle William Good, born on Dec. 12, 1992, was carried to heaven by angels on Jan. 16, 2013, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. His mission here completed, he leaves behind a wake of broken hearts and shattered dreams. A graduate of St. Joseph Academy"s Class of 2011, Kyle shall be remembered for "a smile as big as his heart." His brilliant blue eyes and witty sense of humor made those who knew him honored to call him "friend." Kyle possessed a generous heart illuminated by his sensitivity and his willingness to offer "words of wisdom when someone needed guidance." His selflessness and soulful nature spoke volumes whether he was giving his time to build a home for Habitat for Humanity, ministering to the impoverished in Jamaica or just spending time with family and friends. He had a passion for comic books, Batman, Teenage Ninja Turtles, surfing, and helping the less fortunate. Kyle loved to talk. A young man of honor, he demonstrated a passion for his county and his beliefs. He came into this world with a mission spirit and leaves behind a spirit for the mission.

Kyle is survived by his mother, Rosemarie Smith, younger brother, Evan, maternal grandmother, Catherine Smith of St. Augustine, Fla.; father, William, paternal grandmother, Yvonne of Tennessee and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, coaches, teachers, mentors, classmates and friends who will miss his sweet, gentle and loving spirit.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. with Father Tim Lindenfelser presiding. Both services will be at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, 5205 A1A South, St. Augustine, Fla. In Kyle"s honor please wear purple, his favorite color.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kyle"s name to Food for the Poor.
