Vince Muszung, 56, of St. Augustine, passed unexpectedly on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Flagler Hospital. Vince was a native of Kokeny, Hungary, and was a longtime resident of Pecs, Hungary, where he worked as a carpenter, truck driver and security guard. In 2010, he moved with his wife, Marika, to St. Augustine to live closer to their daughter, and had been working in maintenance for the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites in St. Augustine. Vince was a lifelong Catholic and will be remembered as a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Marika Muszung; daughter, Renata Shary and husband, Danny, all of St. Augustine; a son, Gabor Muszung and his wife Martina, of England; and grandchildren, John Kristof Shary, and Zara and Martin Muszung.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2014, in the Flagler Room on the third floor at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites, 1302 N. Ponce de Leon Blvd., St. Augustine, with Father Joseph Kaminsky, officiating.
