Eva F. Silagyi, 94, of St. Augustine, passed away on April 3, 2014, at the St. Augustine Health and Rehab Center. Eva was born and raised in Yugoslavia and moved to America in 1938 when she was 18 years old. She worked at Switlik Parachutes Factory in Trenton, N.J., and married Gabriel Silagyi in 1941. Eva was a wonderful homemaker and mother, and after her husband's death, she relocated to St. Augustine in 1999. She was active with the Council on Aging, and enjoyed playing cards every Wednesday evening with her card group in St. Augustine Shores. Above all, Eva was a devoted mother and grandmother, and she will be deeply missed.
