William H. "Bubba" Cooper Sr., 73, passed away April 13, 2014, at his home in St. Augustine. He worked at the St. Johns County Road and Bridge Department for over 35 years. He was a member of 7th Day Adventist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Clarinda Patthey Cooper; two sons, William H. Jr. (Angala) and Kale A. (Lindsey); one sister, Francis (Heyward) Augustine; and two grandchildren, Kane and Kaitlyn, all of St. Augustine. He was preceded in death by a sister Joanne Patthey. A memorial service will be held Thursday April 17, 2014, at the 7th Day Adventist Church, 485 Shores Blvd., at 6:30 p.m. Flowers are declined and donations may be made to Community Hospice NE.
