Jeanne Kelley Goedert died peacefully May 6, 2014, at the Grafton House. She was born in Ocala, Fla., on June 4, 1929, to Julia and Roger Kelley. She moved with her family to Jacksonville when she was a teenager where she graduated from Landon High School. She attended Swain Methodist Church where she met her future husband Jack. They were married on Sept. 1, 1951. Jeanne and Jack lived in Jacksonville for 30 years where they raised their two children. They moved to St. Augustine in 1980. Jeanne was a competitive bridge player and a longtime member of the St. Augustine Duplicate Bridge Club. She also was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Jeanne was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Virginia Wilkerson, her son-in-law, John Sejeck, and her husband of 52 years, Jack.
She is survived by her son, Scott Goedert (Susan); daughter, Becky Sejeck; and granddaughters, Kelley Sejeck, Katie Goedert and Ann Goedert, all of St. Augustine.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Grace United Methodist Church, St. Augustine, Fla., at 3:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Grace United Methodist Church Capital Improvement Fund or the St. Johns County Humane Society. Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park (www.craigfuneralhome.com) is in charge of arrangements.
