Alice Marie Coffey, 86, St. Augustine, died May 8, 2014, at her home. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and had resided here in St. Augustine since 2006, moving here from Boynton Beach. She was a member of The Village Church. She participated in the Sandwich Mission, Ladies Bible Study, and was a member of the Palencia trivia team "Maggies." She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

A celebration of her life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014, at The Village Church with Pastors Bob May and Alan Liphart, officiating.
Immediately following the services, a reception will be held at the Cascades Clubhouse.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made in her memory to The Haven Horse Ranch (a therapeutic riding center) or to The Village Church Building Fund.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, John Coffey, St. Augustine; children, Kathleen Lawlor, South Windsor, Conn., Eileen Young, St. Augustine, Alice Herro, Center Moriches, N.Y., John Coffey, Apollo Beach, Fla., Patricia Walsh, Beaufort, S.C., Mary Moore, East Islip, N.Y., Thomas Coffey, Mclean, Va., Matthew Coffey, Dix Hills, N.Y., Timothy Coffey, Lithia, Fla., Terence Coffey, Commack, N.Y.; 23 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
