The Guest Book is expired.
He was an Episcopalian, believed in Jesus Christ, and attended Trinity Episcopal Parish in St. Augustine.
As a Merchant Seaman, Raymond spent 40 years traveling in his career, becoming a Master Marine electrician. He settled in St. Augustine, Fla., in 2007, so he could be close to, and care for, his sister, Joan, and brother-in-law, Charles.
He often said he had an amazing life, had seen most of the world, both civilized and uncivilized, and had few regrets. He felt he was blessed with a wonderful son and amazing grandchildren. He was blessed with his one true love and an interesting and devoted family. At last the sailor is truly home from the sea.
A memorial service to celebrate his journey will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Parish, 215 S. George St., St. Augustine, FL 32084.
