James Brace, 83. Jim passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at the Clyde Lassen VA Home, St. Augustine, Fla. He will be dearly missed by his relatives, friends and beloved Chihuahua"s Bianca and Vida.

Jim was born July 9, 1929, and grew up in Scranton, Pa., before moving to New Jersey. He retired from Converters Ink in Carteret in 1991. He spent 45 years married to his loving wife, Lucille, and was a long time member of the Keyport Elks Lodge and St Mary"s Church. In 2008 Jim and Lucille moved to St. Augustine, a city they had visited 35 years prior and fallen in love with.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Craig Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Craig Funeral Home.

The family would like to especially thank the staff of the Lassen VA Home for almost two years of loving care and Community Hospice who provided end of life care.

Jim had a great life and touched everyone with his smile and sparkling blue eyes. He was especially proud to have served in the U.S. Marines during World War II. Enjoy dancing in heaven, Jim.

Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park (www.craigfuneralhome.com) is in charge of the arrangements.
