Dr. Roland G. Tremblay, 96, of St. Augustine, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at his home, with his family at his bedside. He was born on June 2, 1917, in Somersworth, N.H., the only son of Peter and Bernadette (Demers) Tremblay. He was a physician and surgeon who practiced medicine from 1947 until 1980.
Tremblay is survived by two daughters, Gail, of Olympia, Wash., and Linda Maxwell of Golden, Colo.; a grandson; and two great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Leela (Young) Tremblay, the mother of his daughters, and by his second wife, Anna (Ames) Tremblay.
Funeral services and interment will be held in New Hampshire on Tuesday, August 13, 2013.
St. Johns Family Funeral Home in St. Augustine and Grondin Funeral Home in Rochester, N.H., are in charge of arrangements.
