LINCOLN - Funeral service for Kathy L. Vanderslice, 55, was Friday, 2 p.m., April 5, 2013, Kilgroe Chapel with burial in St. Clair Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Vanderslice died April 2, 2013. She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Hue Pettit; brother, Terry Pettit; 2 grandchildren, Cory Vanderslice and Morgan Vanderslice. Survivors are her husband, Hugh F. Vanderslice; sons, Brian Vanderslice, Jeremy Vanderslice; daughter, Katie (Mark) Wiggins; mother, Shirley Pettit; brothers, Keith Pettit, Chris Pettit, Michael Pettit; sisters, Charlott Phillips, Deborah Brown, Belinda McDaniel, Becky Hallman, Wanda Grimes, Teresa Thompson, Wendy Bell; grandchildren, Brady Vanderslice, Kayle Wiggins, Kate Vanderslice. I was Kathy's waitress at the broiler room where she came to have breakfast everyday for quite a long time with her mom and sister and grandchildren.
