Mosley, Dena Luker - Cropwell  
Funeral service for Dena Luker Mosely, age 42, will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Pell City. Dr. John Thweatt and Rev. Michael Barber will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. She passed away December 8, 2014 in Birmingham. Mrs. Mosley was a member of First Baptist Church Pell City. She was Technology Coordinator at Pell City High School where she was also Junior Varsity Cheerleader Coach. She is survived by her Husband: Matthew Caleb Mosley, Children: Lannon, Avery, and Olivia Weiss, J.D., Laura Grace and John Robert Mosley, Parents: Judith McCrary Sawyer, James D. (Mary) Luker, Jr., Sister: Vicki Luker Freeman, Brother: John Odell (Jeannie) Luker, Grandmother: Melville McCrary, In Laws: John and Debbie Mosley, Nieces and Nephews: Carolyn Grace and Daniel Bryant Freeman, James Alexander and Kaylee Renee Luker, Uncle: Vic McCrary. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 at the church. Pallbearers will be Dondi Lee, Bill Cox, Chad Tidwell, Clay Shadix, Josh Money, and Todd Jones. Putman, Robert Glenn - Moody  
Robert Glenn Putman, age 72, of Moody, AL passed away on December 10, 2014 at Trinity Medical Center. He loved to race Volkswagon dune buggies; was a welder; loved his grandchildren and his dogs; enjoyed watching football and NASCAR. Preceding him in death were his wife Glenda Putman; parents Coy and Ruby Reeves Putman; son Stephen Rothe and grandson Jonah Rothe. Survivors include his son Bryan Putman of Birmingham; daughter Jill Bowlin (Phillip) of Ashville; sons Jason Rothe (Heather) and Timothy Rothe all of Trussville; grandchildren Nicole Montgomery (Cory), Malea Bowlin, Garrett Putman, Brandon Putman, Riley Putman, Jayson Paul Rothe, Daniel Rothe and Joshua Rothe; sister Carolyn Tittle (Terry); brother Danny Putman and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Lemley Chapel at 1:00 PM with Bro. Jeff Clevenger officiating. Burial followed in the Antioch Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Garrett Putman, Brandon Putman, Riley Putman, J.P. Sellers, Sydney Dane - Pell City  
Funeral service for Sydney Dane Sellers, age 14, was held Saturday, December 13 at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Interment was at Valley Hill Memorial Cemetery. Ms. Sellers passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Ernest George Sellers; great-grandparents, Pauline Megginson, Sylvia, Jack Skalka, Joan Ellen & Francis William Herbert; uncles, James Russell Sellers and Steven Durand Fenwick. She is survived by her parents, Ronald & Jennifer Sellers; brother, Robert Gregory Sellers; grandparents, Harold Walter & Barbara Jean Skalka, Linda Johnson, and great-grandmother, Flora Mae Sellers. Symonds, Keeneth James - Locust Fork  
Funeral service for Mr. Kenneth James Symonds, 53, was at 12:00 pm on Monday December 15, 2014 at Pine Bluff Baptist Church in Locust Fork. The Rev. Allen Brasher officiated. Burial was in Pine Bluff Cemetery. He passed away December 11, 2014 in Anniston. He was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. Vandegrift, Jean Elizabeth - Odenville  
Jean Elizabeth Vandegrift, age 90, of Odenville, Alabama passed away on Decmeber 12, 2014. Jean began her career working in a defense plant inspecting airplanes, supporting the troops on the home front, during World War II. She was currently a member of the American Rosie the Riveter Association. After the war was over, she was employed with AT&T and continued to work there for 30 years until she retired. A devoted member of the Odenville Presbyterian Church, she served as treasurer for many years. In her latter days, her one regre was not being able to attend her church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Morgan Vandegrift and Vera Stoll Vandegrift, her sister, Electa Vandegrift Stevenson, her brothers, William Morgan Vandegrift, Jr. and James Edward Vandegrift, and her nephew, Gary Vandegrift. She is survived by her nieces, Jeanette Stevenson Banks and Marilyn Stevenson Mashburn, her nephews, James Allen Stevenson, James E. Vandegrift, Jr. and Mike Stevenson; sister-in-law, Mildred Vandegrift; and a host of great nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Chapel with burial in Liberty Cemetery.
