RUBY LEE WILLIAMS JUSTICE TUCK

ODENVILLE- Ruby was called to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, March 10, 2013. She was born in Riverside on July 21, 1926. She worked in a defense ammunition plant during the war and later worked in the family business. Most of her life was spent raising her four children. She was a devoted and loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents Ed and Lily Williams, one son, Larry Justice, one brother Johnnie Williams, and seven sisters; Estelle White, Ruth Lowe, Edna Johnson, Lola Angeline, Mildred Goodwin, Inez Thornton and Irene Connell. She is also preceded in death by two husbands, the father of her children, Joe Justice and John Tuck. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn J. Sosebee (Michael) and Barbara Foster and one son, Ronald Justice (Sandy), seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruby was very involved with the local VFW Auxiliary and was a kind and loving friend and neighbor. Her spirit and strength will live on in the hearts of her children and friends. Ruby was a Cherokee Indian. Her grandfather was on the Trail of Tears, but escaped and became a sharecropper in Tallapoosa County. She had a green thumb and was an avid gardener for over 50 years. She loved her flowers. She will be greatly missed. We will feel her love beaming down from heaven. She was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church. Funeral Service was Wednesday March 13, 2013 at 11:00am at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Pell City. Funeral Home, Pell City directed the service.
