LEEDS - Funeral services for Lois Simmons, 93, was Friday at 2 p.m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with Drew Kizer officiating. Burial followed in Anniston Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Simmons died Wednesday at Golden Living Health Care in Pell City. Survivors include her children, Nancy (Ralph) Hammett, Eddie (Nancy) Reaves, Peggy (Jim) Steed, Susie (John) Ray, Cherry (Dennis) Wiley and Becky (Ken) Hollis; 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, her sister, Ruby Hamilton, sister-in-law, Grace Reaves and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deward George Simmons, granddaughter, Laura Leigh Reaves and grandson, Lindsey Ray Hollis. Mrs. Simmons was employed by Union Yarn Mill for 27 years. She was a member of Weaver church of Christ for many years and was currently a member of Ashville Road Church of Christ in Leeds. Anniston Memorial Funeral Home directed the service
