PELL CITY - Sarah Jane Masters-Cline-Williams-Alexander went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, Oct. 24, 20009, at the age of 91. Mrs. Alexander was a long time resident of New London and had lived at New Horizon in Pell City for the past two years. She was a member of Pell City Church of Christ. She and her late husband, Charles Williams, owned New London Cash Store for approximately 40 years. She was also a member of Pell City Senior Citizen Center. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Masters, Charles Samuel Williams, and Newman Houston Alexander. She is survived by her children, Jeanette Williams Smith and Jim Smith and their children, James Charles Smith and Michael Wayne Smith and wife Brandy and great-grandchildren, Jessie Wyatt and Shelby Lauren, Kate Hope Smith and Michael Grunn; stepson, Barry and wife Gena Alexander and grandchildren, Savana Naomi and Brandie and great-grandchild, Alexis; stepdaughter, Lisa Alexander Kilpatrick and grandson, Jacob Alexander Cooper; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Alexander's service was Monday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City with burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City directed the service.
