Walloch, Barbara
Barbara J. (Sager) Walloch died in peace and with dignity surrounded by her family at St. Michael's Hospital on Thursday, July 4th after a short illness.
Barb was born on September 25, 1938 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to John & Beulah Sager. She attended schools in Stevens Point and lived in Wisconsin and Florida. On August 24, 1957, she married Ronald Walloch who preceded her in death in 2010.
A life and business partner with her husband who formerly owned and operated The Shoppers Herald, Barb loved to read, worked her Sudoku puzzles every morning, enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. She was an excellent listener and would help anyone in need. She had many longtime friends and she valued those friendships. Mary Anderson, a dear friend for over 50 years said "I was always able to talk with her about anything." And that "She was intelligent, lovely, and so much fun just oozed from her". She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, her smile, and her spunk. She loved her grand dogs and always carried a treat in her pocket for them.
Barb is survived by her four daughters and their families: Linda (Carlo) Petrick and their son, Corey, Nancy Walloch (Jeff Shopinski) and her son Matt Despin, Susan Walloch and her daughter Nicole Pechinski, and Joan (Bill) Grubba and their daughters Olivia and Celia. She is also survived by her sisters Jane (Fred) Wallace, Mary Sager, her brother-in-law Richard (Arietta) Walloch, sister-in-law Louise (Jerry) Sager, serveral nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Barb was preceded in death by her husband Ron, her parents John & Beulah Sager, her sister Nancy Kranzush, her brother Jerry Sager, her brother-in-law Ray Walloch and her in-laws Alex and Lucy Walloch.
There will be a private family memorial in the Gulf of Mexico at a later date.

Joan, Nancy, Linda, Sue and Families,
I just found out about the passing of your Mom. What a delightful woman she was! You were all like a 2nd family to me. My greatest memories are with you, Joan, and your family. Your folks were always so kind and giving. At the time I was too young to realize it, but I certainly appreciate it now. Know that I will miss your Mom (as I do your Dad, too!)and that I have so many fond memories of ski trips, camping at Ridgewood and just hanging out at the house. My heart goes out to all of you.
