Hoeft, Rev. Merlin Rev. Merlin James Hoeft, 95, retired United Methodist pastor, died Saturday, August 29, 2015 at his home in Evergreen Retirement Community-Oshkosh surrounded by his family. Visitation: Friday, September 4, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Seefeld Funeral Home, 1025 Oregon St., Oshkosh, WI, and at church on Saturday starting at 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service: 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Algoma Boulevard United Methodist Church, 1174 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh, WI, with Rev. Cathy Weigand, officiating. Donations may be made to the Evergreen Foundation 1130 N. Westfield St, Oshkosh WI 54902, and the American Cancer Society. Ligman, Casimer R.  
Ligman, Casimer R. Casimer R. Ligman Of Stevens Point died early Sunday morning August 30, 2015 at Care Partners Assisted Living in Whiting while under the care of Heartland Hospice. Age 68 Casimer was born March 4, 1947 in Stevens Point. He was the son of the late John and Leona (Pukrop) Ligman. He attended local schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High school. He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. Survivors include his two brothers; James Ligman and Florian (Lorraine) Ligman both of Stevens Point. Four sisters; Mary Ann (Stanley) Kostuch and Louise (Fred) Wietrzykowski both of Stevens Point, Delores (John) Rucinski of Plover and Angeline (Don) Kaczor of Neillsville. Casimer was preceded in death by a sister Theresa. As per Casimers wishes private family services were held. Burial will full military honors was at the St. Casimer Catholic Church Parish Cemetery. The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home of Stevens Point was honored to serve the family. Lundgren, Charlotte  
Lundgren, Charlotte Charlotte Lundgren age 76 of the Town of Dewey passed away Sunday August 30, 2015 at her home. Private family services will be held. Shuda Funeral Services & Crematory are assisting the family. Charlotte was born April 29, 1939 in Stevens Point, the daughter of Arnold and Alice (Borchardt) Lundren. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School. Charlotte worked at Vetters (SNE) until her retirement. She enjoyed squirrel hunting with her brother, fishing, and loved her dogs, including her current dog companion, "Pumpkin". Charlotte is survived by her brother Randy (Clytie) Lundgren, Stevens Point; her two nephews: Daniel and Nicholas. She was preceded in death by her parents. Pagel, Lorraine E.  
Pagel, Lorraine E. Lorraine E. Pagel, age 88, of Almond, WI passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Wild Rose Manor. Lorraine was born in Amherst, WI on March 28, 1927, the daughter of the late Carl Skoglund and Emma (Damrau) Powers. On November 27, 1948, Lorraine married Lyle A. Pagel at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Amherst and he preceded her in death on April 19, 1998. She is a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church, having taught Sunday School, Bible School, and as a member of the choir. Lorraine was also an active member in St. John's Ladies Aid, Unit 339 American Legion Auxiliary, and the Golden Needle Quilt Guild and had held several positions in these organizations. She was also an active volunteer at the Almond Library and in her children's school activities. She was a loyal Packer and Brewer fan and enjoyed spending time sewing, playing cards and games, and with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lorraine is survived by her children: SuAnn (Gary Rast) Pagel-Rast, Almond; Timothy (Marcie) Pagel, Neenah and Thomas (Connie) Pagel, Plover; her 5 grandchildren: Tori Pagel; Issac (Nickie) Pagel; Timothy (Angel) Pagel; Peter (friend Christine Richards) Pagel and Carly (fiance Sean Beulen) Rast; 3 great grandchildren: Oliver Pagel; Lyla & Julian Pagel; her sisters-in-law: Adeline Bork, Green Bay and Emily Pagel, Almond; her dear friend: Clifford Steinke, Almond and many nieces & nephews. Lorraine was preceded in death by her father, Carl Skoglund, her mother and step father, Emma & Rufus Powers, her brother, Leland (Karen) Skoglund and her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Merle & Evonne Pagel, Kenneth Pagel and Howard Bork. The Christian Funeral Service will be on Saturday, September 5 at 11 AM at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Almond with Reverend Brian Roehrborn, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 4 PM to 8 PM at the church and also on Saturday morning from 10 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Lorraine's name. The family wishes to thank Clifford Steinke for his love and support. They also wish to thank the staff at Wild Rose Manor, St. Joseph's Hospital and the Marshfield Clinic for the care provided for her.

Rushevics, Gavin  
Rushevics, Gavin Gavin Zarek Rushevics, 45, formerly of Stevens Point, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington due to the onset of an inoperable brain hemorrhage. Gavin was born in Madison, Wisconsin on November 29, 1969 and graduated from SPASH, ('88), and UW-Madison, ('92). He married Laurie Lamken on February 5, 1994 in Seattle. They had two children together and later divorced. He worked as Director of Purchasing for Tri-W Distributors in Seattle throughout his life. Gavin enjoyed music, sports, cooking, auto racing, traveling and most of all loved spending time with his children, family and friends. He was captain of the SPASH hockey team and continued playing competitive hockey throughout his life. He is survived by his children, Alicen Marisa and Zarek Stephen, parents, Ann Rushevics (special friend, Ken) and Maris Rushevics (Cheryl), his older brother Brian, nieces Kinsey and Keeley, Grandmother Joan R. Whitfield, Aunt Carol Lesiow, and Uncles George B. Whitfield III and Ivar Rushevics. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Austra Rushevics, Voldemars Rushevics and George B. Whitfield, Jr. Gavin gave the gift of life to others through organ donation. A Celebration of Life service for Gavin will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday September 4, 2015 at the Shuda-Plover Funeral Home in Plover. Visitation will be held from 5:00 -7:00 PM on Thursday, and again from 9:00 AM until the time of services Friday at the funeral home in Plover. He will be laid to rest at the Latvian Memorial Park in the Catskills, Elka Park, New York at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a memorial for the higher education of his children or to farestart.org . He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Boyce, Florence  
Boyce, Florence Florence Rose (Holzer) Boyce, 95, Green Bay resident, died August 26, 2015. She was born to the late Joseph and Rose (Boex) Holzer on March 31, 1920. Florence graduated from West High 1937, and went on to earn her diploma from St. Mary's Nursing School in Green Bay in 1941 as a Registered Nurse. Her family owned Holzer's Corner Drug Store in downtown Green Bay, Florence regularly worked there. This was where she met her husband, Jack Boyce. They were married on November 12, 1949, at St. Pat's. Jack preceded her in death on December 12, 1988. Florence began her nursing career as a private duty nurse. She then began raising her family, but she returned to nursing in 1969 at Bellin Hospital until her retirement in 1983 as a Hospice RN. Florence was an active member in the parish at St. Bernard Catholic Church, the Rosary Altar Society, the Catholic Women's Club, and the St. Mary Alumni. Florence was always energized by people and gatherings; she loved a good party. Florence loved people and made friends wherever she went. Florence is survived by her children, James (Angie) Boyce, Chillicothe, OH; Sherry Boyce, Stevens Point; Bradley (Claire Ann) Boyce, Madison; Christopher (Laurie) Boyce, Madison; and Bonnie Skorczewski, De Pere; ten grandchildren, Pam (Mike) Richter, Grove City, OH; Karen (Andy) Zastudil, Westerville, OH; Jeff (Angie) Boyce, Grove City, OH; Bryan Boyce, Germany; Todd (fiancée, Lucie Machan) Boyce, Switzerland; Megan Boyce, Middleton; Sarah (Matthew) Sorum, Madison; Claire (fiancé, Ben Mezick) Boyce, Madison; Hannah (Ryan) Bergstrom, Santa Monica, CA; and Joe (Carissa) Skorczewski, St. Paul, MN; eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Florence was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jim Skorczewski; brothers, John (Olive) Holzer and Ed (Gen) Holzer; sisters, Helen (Sam) Swidler and Frances (Warren) Cartier. Friends are invited to gather at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Ln., Monday, August 31, 2015, from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. on Monday at the church with Rev. Mark Vander Steeg officiating. Entombment at Nicolet Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.prokowall.com . In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established to benefit St. Bernard Catholic School.
