Annabelle (Callahan) Allison passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2013 at her home in Plainfield.
Annabelle was born March 2, 1926, in the Town of Oasis at the home of her parents, Walter and Martha (Weyneth) Callahan. Annabelle graduated from Plainfield High School in 1944. She married Robert Allison on January 12, 1946 in Almond, Wisconsin.
Annabelle was an amazing homemaker known for her delicious cooking, pies, jellies and her incredible ability to can and freeze produce, which she thoroughly enjoyed unselfishly sharing with others. Annabelle's greatest joy was caretaking. She took great pride in being a dedicated wife and wonderful mother.
Annabelle will be sadly missed by her husband, Bob; children: Linda, Charlie (Leah), Janet (Keith) and daughter-in-law, Nancy Bayne; grandchildren, Tim, Kari, Allison, Michelle, Eric, Galen, Braden, Dan, Justin, Lindsay and Matt; great-grandchildren, Ben, Emily, Aaron, Haley, Natalie, Gabrielle, Evan, Maddie and Ellie; siblings, Dorothy Adams, Ruby Garrett and Jim (Maddie) Callahan; in-laws, Harold Bartels, Terry Callahan, Donna (Ray) Pichelmann and Romona Schulist. Annabelle's unbelievable spirit and Irish spunk will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.
Annabelle was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ron; three sisters, Marge (Bill) Sullivan, Blanche Bartels, and Mabel (Tunk) Sullivan; three brothers, Dick (Naida), Chuck (Joy) and Jerry; two brothers-in-law, Carl Adams and Nelson Garrett.
A celebration of Annabelle's life will be held at a later date.
