Beverly J. Sterling, 81, of Plover, died early Wednesday morning, Dec. 5, 2012, at the Maple Ridge Memory Care in Plover.

She was born on Sep. 28, 1931, in Plover, to the late Bernard and Frances (Eickendorf) Krueger and attended school in Plover. On April 7, 1951, she was married to Glen Sterling at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover. She was a homemaker.

Beverly did foster care for many years and she enjoyed square dancing and loved babysitting. She was known for her baking.

Survivors include her son, David (Marlene) Sterling of Appleton; daughter, Nancy (John) Crabb of Plover; son, Anthony (Kathlene) Sterling of Plover; grandchildren, Jason, Scott, Jessica, Jay, Amy, Whitney and Bailee; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ben Krueger of Waterford, Bill (Germaine) Krueger of Plover, and Jerry (Joann) Krueger of Plover; sister, Elaine Heck of Plover; and brother-in-law, Oscar Hopp of Plover.

In addition to her parents and husband, Beverly was preceded in death by her daughter, Paula Sterling; sons, John, Steven and Kevin Sterling; and sisters, Pat Hopp and Betty Dougherty.

The family thanks the past and present directors and caregivers at Maple Ridge Memory Care for their care of Beverly.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church, in Plover, with the Rev. Greg Bohren officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time for Mass. Pisarski Community Funeral Home, Plover, is assisting the family with arrangements.
