Delores Roetzer(1943 - 2012)


Age 69 Of Plover died peacefully at her home on Friday, November 9, 2012.

Delores was born June 6, 1943 in Stevens Point. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Aron) Pliska. She attended local schools, and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1961.

After graduation she moved to Milwaukee where she met Larry Roetzer the couple married, lived in Michigan and later divorced.

Delores then moved back to Stevens Point with her family. She worked at McCain's Foods for over twenty years only to retire two short weeks ago.

Delores was filled with an inner drive to be self-sufficient. She was proud of her hard working ethics and was often rewarded as a respected employee and co-worker. She had a passion to educate herself, especially in politics.

Delores was never one to ask for help but was always there to lend an ear to listen or a helping hand to those in need. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful laugh that will remain in our memories forever.

Her most precious time was when she was spending time with her family. She was proud of her children and grandchildren and always looked forward to being with them. Family was a very important part of Delores life and her love for them was unconditional.

Delores is survived by her two children her daughter Stacey (Tim) Owens of Wallace, MI, and her son Brett (Becky) Roetzer of Menominee, MI, and her nine precious grandchildren: Nick, Matt, Dylan, Kaitlyn, Bradley, Paige, Samantha, Natatlie and Olivia.

She is further survived by one sister, Mary Gagas of Stevens Point, and two brothers Clarence (Mica) Pliska of Edinburgh, TX. and Elmer (Mary) Pliska of Portland, TN.

She was preceded in death by her loving daughter Lana, four sisters; Regina Marguard, JoAnne Buelow, Lucille Finnessy and Clara Melum. One brother Chet Pliska.

Memorial Services will be at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home in Plover. Deacon Vern Lenzmier officiating.
