Felix Plaski, 82, of Stevens Point, died Wednesday March 27, 2013 at his residence. He was under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice & Community Care of Central Wisconsin. Felix was born on April 1, 1930 in the Town of Hull, to the late Frank & Catherine (Worzalla) Plaski.
He attended Pulaski school in the Town of Hull. His marriage to Theresa Burant took place on June 18, 1960 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. They were happily married for 52 years.
Felix owned & operated Plaski Rubbish Removal with his motto being "City of Who Cares". After his retirement in 1984, to keep active he started Plaski & Sons Lawn Care.
Felix will be remembered for his loving, caring and happy go lucky personality. He strived to make others laugh and was very generous, always putting others needs in front of his own.
In his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, polka dancing, church picnics, and tinkering with equipment that needed repair.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Plaski of Stevens Point.
Daughters, Sandra (Thomas) Smrz of Stevens Point, Susan (Leo) Begrow of Larsen, Sally (Paul) Zaborowski of Stevens Point, Sheila (Dale) Iczkowski of Mosinee, Stephanie (Tony) Wierzba of Stevens Point.
Sons, Steven (Sandy) Plaski of Stevens Point, Steward (Ann) Plaski of Amherst, Scott (Sarah) Plaski of Stevens Point and Sean (Tabetha) Plaski of Stevens Point.
31 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren & 1 Great-Grandson on the way.
Also survived by sisters, Kate Kluck of Wittenberg & Helen Jerzak of New Port Richey, Florida.
He was preceded in death by five sisters & four brothers.
Funeral Mass; 10:30 a.m. Wednesday April 3, 2013 at St. Peter Catholic Church. Rev Dennis Stanchik officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home 703 Second Street Stevens Point and again on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service in the St. Faustina room at the church.
