Joseph, Hamilton Obituary

The Joseph D. Hamilton Family

Joseph Daniel Hamilton, "Joe," 34; Holly Renada Hamilton, 32; Olivia R. Bondy, 11; Jaxon Daniel Hamilton, 8; and Linkin Hamilton, 6; died in a house fire in Republic, OH on Tuesday, November 27, 2012.

Joe was born August 27, 1978 to Terry M. and Phillip C. Hamilton, Jr. He has a brother, Phillip Hamilton, III and a sister, Nicole Hamilton. Joe attended Assumption High School in Wis. Rapids, WI and graduated from Lincoln High School, Wis. Rapids, WI. He went on to graduate from the Instrumentation Technology program at Mid-State Technical College, Wis. Rapids, WI. Joe spent his career as a technician for Hurst Technology.

Holly was born December 27, 1980 to Willy and Chris Adams. She has a brother, Joshua Adams and a sister, Heidi Adams. Holly attended Bellevue High School, Bellevue, OH. Her passion and life's work, however, was being a mother. She was an incredibly gifted seamstress and enjoyed sharing that talent by creating quilts, pillowcases, and other items for friends and family members. All three of her children inherited her tender heart and care for others.

Joe and Holly were blessed with three children: Olivia R. Bondy (12/5/00), Jaxon D. Hamilton (8/19/04), and Linkin J. Hamilton (8/15/06). All three children attended Seneca East School and were in sixth grade, second grade, and kindergarten. Olivia was a gifted artist and devoted sister. She was an extremely poised and intelligent young lady who enjoyed sports, art, and music. Jaxon was athletic and joyful. He was kind to every person he met and had an infectious laugh. Linkin was energetic and passionate about anything motorized—he loved cars and trucks. His zest for life was unequaled. All three children were beautiful examples of innocence, obedience, and love.

The family was extraordinarily tight-knit and spent most of their time together. They enjoyed sports and their pets. But, most of all they adored each other. Whether doing arts and crafts, running around the yard, or just playing with their many toys and games, they exhibited love and respect amongst themselves and to others.

The family is survived by Holly's grandparents, Jean Adams and Renada "Ren" Funni; Joe's parents, Terry M. and Phillip C. Hamilton, Jr. (Dorie Hamilton, Step-mother), WI; Holly's parents, Willy (Lisa Adams, Step-mother) and Chris Adams, Bellevue, OH; Joe's brother and family, Phillip Hamilton, III and Jaime Hamilton and three sons (Phillip IV, Jacob, Benjamin), Joe's sister, Nicole Hamilton (April and Tiffany Martens, sep-cousins), Holly's brother, Joshua Adams; Holly's sister and niece, Heidi Adams and Destiny Gurley; and Holly's three step-sisters, Cassie Fearing, Breea Fearing and son (Alexander Lewis), Ashley (Kimmet) Wickert (Jason Wickert, Step-brother-in-law). Joe, Holly, Olivia, Jaxon, and Linkin are also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mass will be at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, December 7 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 750-10th Ave. So., Wis. Rapids, WI. A memorial/celebration of life with family and friends will be from 1:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hotel Mead, 451-E. Grand Ave., Wis. Rapids. Hors D'Oeuvres and refreshments will be served. Phil and Dorie - There are no words to describe our deep sadness for you and your family.
Your son, his wife, and young chilren were so very fortunate to have you as a wonderful father, grandfather, and step-mother. For that alone, they were blessed.
Our love,

I did not know your family, but at a time like this, we are all family. It is very hard to lose someone you love; unfathomable to lose 5. May God bless you with peace and be with you. My heart goes out to all of your family.

I did not personally know this family, but at times like this, we are all family; we care about those that are hurting. It is so hard to lose someone you love, much less a whole family of 5. May God be with you during your time of sorrow. My heart goes out to you all.
