Patricia (Patsy) A Smith age 66, of Plover passed away unexpectedly at her home on March 20, 2013.

A celebration of Life Service for Patricia will be held on Tuesday March 26, 2013 at the Plover - Shuda Funeral Home. Friends and family will gather to share memories from 11:00 AM until the time of services at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Patricia was born November 13, 1946 in Stevens Point, the daughter of Arthur and Grace (Borchardt) Ceplina. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1964. Patricia married Randall Smith in October of 1968 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church. The couple moved to Milwaukee in 1968 and to West Bend in 1976. The couple divorced and Patricia returned to the Stevens Point area in 1985. Patricia had a close companion and friend Jesse Masias for almost 20 years. In 2007 Patricia changed her priorities and focused her time with her grandchildren. She had worked at McCain's for the past 22 years. She also had worked at the Thunderbird Bar, Friendly Bar, and the Dollar Tree. She enjoyed bowling and collecting Betty Boop and Coca-Cola memorabilia. She also enjoyed watching Westerns, but most of all loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her two children: Arthur (Jamison) Smith, Plover and April (Harold) Shelton, Plover. Seven grandchildren: Cassandra, Jonathan (Vanessa), Lacey, Briar, Taylen, Destinee, and Zander. One great grandson, Sawyer. Her Mother, Grace Ceplina, WI Rapids. Two sisters: Judy Koback, Stevens Point and Mary (Bernie) Plummer, Plover. Three brothers: Bobby (Micki) Ceplina, WI Rapids; Donnie (Betsy) Ceplina, Stevens Point; and Jack (Marge) Ceplina, WI Rapids along with many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by Father, Arthur Ceplina; two sisters: Sandy Copeland and Margaret "Sissy" Lepak; and one niece Brenda Lepak.
