Adeline K. Ziolkowski, 98, of 2433 Simonis St., died October 16, 2012, at Haack's Tendercare in Sun Prairie.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Adeline will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012, at St. Stanislaus Parish, Stevens Point, with visitation starting at 9:30 A.M., until time of the service at 11:00 A.M. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 A.M. by the Rosary Society. Burial will follow the service at Guardian Angel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a .

Adeline was born in the Town of Sharon, the daughter of Nicholas and Theresa (Landowski) Meronek. Adeline married Joseph Ziolkowski in November, 1937. She worked as a housekeeper in Milwaukee, made flies for Weber Tackle and retired after 20 years in School Food Service at P.J. Jacob's.

Adeline will be remembered as the "Rosary Lady". She made over 7,000 Rosaries which were shipped to missionaries throughout the world. She enjoyed bingo with her friends and relatives. Thank you for taking her to bingo. Adeline was a member of St. Stanislaus Parish for over 70 years, and a member of the Rosary Society for over 50 years. Her daughters and their husbands will remember her delicious chicken dinners, along with her scrumptious pies.

Survivors include her five daughters; Barbara (Gene) Johnson of Sun Priarie, Elaine (Geary) Rise of Tucson, Margie (Tom) Birrenkott of Sun Prairie, Linda (Tom) Manske of Stevens Point and Jan (Jim) Roth of Wisconsin Rapids, and brother Alfred Meronek. Adeline has 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers Hubert, Ernest, Daniel, Alois; her sisters Laura Grabowski, Clara Bloch, Helen Blarek, and Alvina Meronek. One sister, Teckla Souik, recently followed in death.

The family would like to thank the staff at Northcrest Assisted Living Center, Stevens Point, and the staff at Haack's Tendercare, Sun Prairie. We would also like to thank the staff at Agrace/Hospice Care, Fitchburg, especially nurses Michelle and Tammy. We had many people watching over our mother with caring hands.
