Bernice R. Rogoski

Bernice R. Rogoski, 96, of Stevens Point, died Monday July 16, 2012 at her residence with her family by her side. She was under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice. Bernice was born on November 6, 1915 in Amherst Junction. She was the daughter of the late Leo & Agnes (Kenowski) Konkol.

She attended local schools. Her marriage to Raymond Rogoski took place on October 28, 1935, at St. Mary's of Mount Carmel Catholic Church Fancher. After the marriage the couple settled in Arnott, moving to Chicago in 1937. They returned to Wisconsin in 1942 where the couple owned and operated Rogoski Implement Company in Amherst. They moved the business to Rosholt in 1947, and operated it until 1969. The couple finally settled in Stevens Point in 1980. Her husband died on December 17, 1996.

Bernice was very instrumental in the success of the farm implement business.

She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Bernice followed all of her grandchildren's events and was very encouraging and supportive to all the endeavors they pursued. She enjoyed playing cards at the Lincoln Center and loved watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Rogoski (Thomas Turgeon) of Memphis Tennessee. One son, Ron (Darlene) Rogoski of Stevens Point. Grandchildren; Leanne (Dorian) Domask, Lynn (John) Zdroik, Leslie Rogoski (Jason Strong) and Tori (Brad) Rutta. Great-Grandchildren; Dana (Matt) Osowski, Ryan (Kari) Zdroik, Bryce (Megan) Domask, Brad Zdroik, Matt Zdroik, & Chris (Maureen) Domask. Great-Great-Grandchildren; Reece & Cale Osowski. Jaedyn & Peyton Zdroik. Also survived by a brother, Rudy Konkol of Stevens Point. Three sister-in-law's;Mona & Dorothy Konkol, Ann Britz and one brother-in-law John (Lucille) Herman all of Stevens Point. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley, Ted, Alvin, Eric and Victor. Sisters, Wanda, Bertha, Sue and Pearl.

Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00a.m. on Friday July 20, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her nephew Rev Robert Konkol will officiate and her nephew Mike Konkol will sing. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church. Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home 703 Second Street Stevens Point is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials in Bernice's name to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
