Delores J. Marceille

Delores Jean Marceille, age 74, Shawano city resident, passed away Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013. She was a survivor of several Cancer surgeries through-out her later adulthood life. Her latest surgery at the Appleton Medical Center was one that she could not recover from. She had spent much time in the ICU where she had passed away peacefully among family and friends. Born on October 21, 1938 in Stevens Point, she was the daughter of the late John and Johanna (Molski) Bekowski. She had graduated from the Wisconsin School for the Deaf in Delevan, WI. After that, she went on to work at Sentry Insurance Co. in Stevens Point, WI, American Family Ins Co. in Madison, and retired working for Allstate in Northbrook, IL on September 30th, 1994. Delores was an accomplished artist (oil painting, pencil, etc). She loved to help people at an adult care facility for the elderly and handicapped while living in Illinois. While residing in Shawano, Delores would love to go to rummage sales with her sister Evelyn. Her other love was her son's dog Rufus which was her faithful companion and protector. Jokingly, her son Brian had always said that Rufus was her "#1 son!" Delores was married to Victor Liebe of Stevens Point, WI from 1966 and divorced in 1980. In 1986 she was married to Roy Marceille of Wausau. The couple moved to the Shawano area in 1995. Roy preceded her in death on October 24, 1997.

Delores is survived by: her sons, Brian (Michelle Factor) Liebe and children, April, Asher, and Arianna of Bonduel and Chris (Carmen) Liebe and children, Joshua, Noah, Gabriel, and Emily of Germany; 2 step-sons, Roy Jr. (Wanda) and Rodney of DePere; a brother, Chester of OK; and 4 sisters, Stella Warren of Chicago, Frances Ostrowiecki of Milwaukee, Mary (George) Thatch of CA and Evelyn Polum of Shawano.

Delores is preceded in death by: husbands, Victor and Roy as well as 2 sisters and 1 brother.
