Elmer "Pete" Wilson

Elmer "Pete" Wilson age 80 of Plover, WI passed away Wednesday Sept. 18, 2013 at Ministry St. Michaels Hospital in Stevens Point. He was born June 21, 1933 in Wisconsin Rapids. He is the son of the late Arthur Wilson and the late Helen Kouba. Elmer served in the US Navy from 1952 to 1958.

His marriage to Phyllis Potter took place on May 17, 1958 in Minden, NV. She survives. He was employed for Soo Line Railroad for several years and most recently worked at Worzalla & Sons potatoes. He enjoyed playing cards, watching baseball & western movies and was an avid Packer fan.

Survivors include his wife Phyllis, three daughters: Berna (Steve) Gollon of Plover, Lori (Dan) Ortner of Pittsville & Dawnette (Tim) Sullivan of Stevens Point. Two sons: John Wilson of Plover and Terry Wilson of Stevens Point. 20 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son-in-law Daniel Bonsack, 3 brothers & 1 sister.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday Sept. 21, 2013 at the Pisarski/Dzikoski funeral home at 703 Second St. in Stevens Point. Pastor Dean Anderson will officiate. Friends and family will gather from 10:00 am until the time of services on Saturday morning at the funeral home. For on line condolences please visit
