Joseph "Joey" Trzebiatowski Obituary

Age 19, of Stevens Point passed away early Sunday morning, April 29, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident. Joey was born June 17, 1992 in Stevens Point. He is the son of Norbert and Becky (Marciniak) Trzebiatowski of Stevens Point. Joey graduated from Pacelli High School in 2010.

He was completing his sophomore year at the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point where he was majoring in Business, with a Marketing Concentration.

Joey played as a goalie in hockey from a very young age with the Portage County Youth on Ice Icehawks, and on through his high school years at Pacelli.

He sampled a variety of other sport activities. Growing up he did rollerblading, snowboarding, broomball, football, baseball, cross country and track. He recently had the opportunity to go skydiving, and was in the process of getting his scuba diving certification. He also enjoyed all kinds of music.

Joey was employed at Rusty's Backwater Saloon as a cook and bartender. He was also working as a Sales Team Leader with College Pro Painters.

Surviving are his parents, Norbert and Becky Trzebiatowski of Stevens Point, and his two brothers Max and Philip, both of Stevens Point. He is further survived by his Paternal Grandparents, William and Laverne Trzebiatowski of Amherst, and his Maternal Grandmother, Loretta Marciniak of Plover.

He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Harry C. Marciniak, two Uncles Stephen E. Marciniak and Jeffrey Trzebiatowski, and one cousin Dawn Harder. Joey was blessed to belong to a large family with lots of aunts and uncles and cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Joey's name will be established at a later date.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM Thursday, May 3, 2012 at St. Bronislava Catholic Church. Rev. James Trempe officiating. Burial will be in the St. Bronislava Parish Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at St. Bronislava Church, and from 9:30 AM Thursday at the church until the time for mass. There will be a parish rosary prayed at 8:00 PM Wednesday evening. The Pisarski Community Funeral Home, 2911 Plover Road, Plover is assisting the family with arrangements.
