Laatsch, Julanne

Julanne Rose Sannes Laatsch , age 82 of Green Bay, formerly of Clintonville, passed away peacefully Saturday evening July 14, 2012 at the Unity Hospice Center in De Pere.

Julanne was born on July 12, 1930 in Amherst Junction, WI to Bernie and Louise (Fontaine) Johnson. She attended school in Amherst and on February 12,1949 was united in marriage to Everett Sannes. The couple moved to Clintonville where Everett preceded his wife in death on January 13, 1971. Julanne was later united in marriage to Earl Laatsch on January 3, 1976. The couple moved to Memphis, TN until Earl retired in 1986 and they returned to Clintonville. In 2006 the couple moved to Woodside Manor in Green Bay where they have lived since. Julanne was an active member of the Christus Lutheran Church while in Clintonville where she was a member of many Women Circles and enjoyed singing in the church choir. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant, and worked at the Clintonville Hospital from 1972 until 1977. Julanne was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who had a passion for reading and chocolate.

Survivors include: Her husband Earl; 3 children: Jeffrey (Karen) Sannes, and their daughter, Rachel (Rod) Gullixon; Cheryl (Jeff) Macejkovic, and their children, Nathan (Jessica) Macejkovic and Jeremy (Julia) Macejkovic; and Steven (Eileen) Sannes, and their children, Andrew (Heather) Sannes, Rebecca (Chad) Krull, and Heather (Chad) Weininger; her sister, Shirley Damas; a step-daugher, Alyce Ricker; several step-grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Julanne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett Sannes; her sisters, Bertha Kisling & Nell Jensen; and granddaughters Andrea & Ivory Jo Sannes.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 18, 2012 at 11AM at the Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville with Rev. Alan Daugherty officiating. Interment will follow at the Graceland Cemetery in Clintonville.

Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to the Unity Hospice Organization, 2366 Oak Ridge Circle, De Pere, WI 54115.
