Tullberg, LaVera L.
LaVera L. Tullberg, age 86, of Almond, WI passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Crystal River Nursing Home in Waupaca. LaVera was born in Tigerton, WI on December 10, 1926, the daughter of the late Fred and Esther (Seefeldt) Vollmer. On August 15, 1942 LaVera married Vernon H. Tullberg at St. John Lutheran Church in Tigerton and he preceded her in death on July 14, 1996. LaVera had worked for many years at Clintonville Hospital as a Nursing assistant. She is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Almond.
She is survived by her children: Charolene (Martin) Lieber, Plover; Vernon (Linda) Tullberg, Rapid City, SD; Larry (Patricia) Tullberg, Almond and Bob (Tami) Tullberg, Dayton, TN. She is also survived by her seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren; her sisters: Violet Conrad, Marion; LeeIla Zitske, Bonduel; Bonnie (Lyle) Sanderfoot, Combined Locks; her brothers: Martin (Doris) Vollmer, Clintonville and James (Sandy) Vollmer, Tigerton and many nieces and nephews. LaVera was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Louella Steinke.
The Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 3 at 11 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Almond with Reverend Brian Roehrborn, officiating. Burial will follow in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Morris, Shawano County. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 4 to 7 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Almond continuing on Friday morning from 10 AM until the time of services.
